Reasons why you still receive bills from your previous supplier
The main reasons for getting a bill from your old supplier despite already sorting a new supply through Fidelity Energy are:
- Your old supplier has sent a final bill that contains an outstanding balance. This will include any money you owe on your old contract. You will need to pay this as it is the charge for the energy you used while you were with your old supplier.
- The new contract arranged through Fidelity Energy has not started yet. Your new contract will not begin until your current one ends. So, you will still be billed by and pay this supplier until that contract ends.
- There has been a problem with the switch. This rarely happens, but it is a possibility.
