Exit fees and exceptions when moving premises
You are not usually charged an exit fee when your business leaves its premises. When moving out, you need to log a Change of Tenancy (COT) with your supplier. Once your supplier approves and confirms the dates, they will let you know when your contract can be terminated.
There is one exception - Yu Energy has introduced a flat fee of £500 for businesses leaving their premises before their contract ends.
